Its good, but not great

As a long time fan of the original trilogy, I was excited to start a new power story. Personally, I feel let down. The writing is still amazing, and seeing people I already knew felt nice but over the feel of the story wasnt for me. I have nothing wrong with authors injecting certain messages into their work, but the way it was approach this time around felt slightly forceful and got annoying at some points. The biggest being the choices. It felt like no matter what I chose, MC was still the same. I felt like I didnt have control over them as I did with my original Hero. That being said, if theres another one the only thing Id do different is play the sample online first before rushing to buy it.
