Good but heavy handed

First the good: this is a lengthy story, writing is very consistent, lots of choices, good characters. And now the bad: author is forcing a very specific world view and it is incredibly obvious and heavy handed, stats and choices can feel arbitrary at times. Overall it is good but unless you are able to overlook the author shoe horning their opinions in way to much you are going to burn out on it fast.
